No wait, I want more!

Five-six-seven-eightโ€ฆ

Protein pancakes we must make.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats

  • 1 banana

  • 2 cups flax milk + protein (or any plant-based high-protein milk)

  • 2 scoops plant-based protein

  • 2 flax eggs (per โ€œeggโ€: mix 1 tablespoon flax meal with 3 tablespoons water. Set aside for 5 or more minutes.)

  • Dash of cinnamon

  • Dash of celtic salt or sea salt

Topping Suggestions:

  • Berries

  • Sliced bananas

  • Maple Syrup, Un-honey, Agave, Coconut Nectar, etc.

Directions:

  1. Using a high-speed blender or mixer, combine the following: oats, banana, flax milk, protein powder, flax eggs, cinnamon, & salt.

  2. Heat up skillet on stovetop at low-medium heat.

  3. Spray with nonstick & start pourin' pancakes!

***Pro Tip: this batter is a bit thick, so it helps to spread it out on the skillet by carefully moving the pan or using a spoon.

Once done, sauce those babies up with all the fixings!  A great way to start any day!
