Not A Sin-Amon Apple Crisp

Ingredients:
5-6 opal apples sliced
2 tablespoons dark maple syrup
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3 teaspoons cinnamon
¾ cups old-fashioned oats
1 ¾ cups all-purpose GF flour (I use Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free 1-to-1 Baking Flour — use non-GF, if preferred.)
1 cup brown coconut sugar
6 tablespoons vegan butter cut into slices
¼ teaspoon celtic salt or sea salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Mix apples, maple syrup, 2 teaspoons cinnamon, & lemon juice.
In another bowl, mix oats, flour, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, salt, & butter.
Smash butter into mixture as thoroughly as possible without using a mixer.
Spray nonstick oil into a 9x13 baking dish.
Lay apples into dish & spread crumble on top evenly.
Bake for 45 minutes until apples are tender & crumble is golden brown.
Serve as is or with vegan vanilla ice cream & a vegan caramel drizzle.
Use as cookies & milk replacement for Santa & score extra presents.
