I have always been a dreamerโฆ even if itโs with a pinch ๐ค๐ผ of naivety on the side.๐ค
During this chapter of life, I had big ideas ๐ก & the continued theme throughout it all was RESISTANCE. Even so, a part of me deep within knew that I was being guidedโฆ I just wasnโt sure to where. I had fears that the new direction wouldnโt match the attachments & expectations I had created in my mind.๐ง๐ง
It was always this โthingโ that would guide me to that โpersonโ & then the next โplaceโ that would lead me to exactly where I needed to be. The dots connected up until the conception of SoulRise Tribe. Of course, I often didnโt see that during the process & was quite frustrated at times.๐ตโ๐ซ๐
In hindsight, the amount of growth & learning acquired along the way was invaluable!๐ฏ
When we work alongside powers ๐๐ผ much greater than our human minds can logistically comprehend, it deeply supports our pursuits & peace of mind to trust the process of it all.๐ฃโจ

Chapter Seven (Featuring: โEvening Frost in Santa Monica.โ)
During many modeling experiences & overall just being a woman in our society, there have been countless times where outside influences have given the impression that I needed to change something about myself.
As though I needed to reach & grasp onto what would make me โenoughโ, alter a โflawโ/undesirable trait, or adjust my values to โfit inโ.
How many times a day do we consume influential messages while consciously & unconsciously taking note of where, what, & how we lack?
When we choose not to ride societyโs rickety rollercoaster ๐ข of influential ๐๐ผs and ๐๐ผs, especially at the expense of ignoring our unchangeable existential truth, we are liberated to be free & shine limitlessly from the invaluable space of WHO WE TRULY ARE.๐๐๐โจ
The ego will always point out a missing piece ๐งฉ thatโs promised to โcompleteโ our sense of value. Our higher selves know better.
Letโs strive to be our best & avoid the egoโs luring โstoriesโ that pressure us to mold into something (figuratively & non-figuratively) which are not real.๐๐

Chapter Six (Featuring: โSparkly Skies & Salty Waters.โ)
A cute ๐ฅฐ love story + some important notes ๐๐๐ผ:
How we met? Sean was older than me, so I didnโt know him well. At the time, I knew he went to school with my brother & worked at a local gym. I saw him there very rarely and, if we spoke, it was always about my brother.๐คฃโค๏ธ
Years had gone without thinking, seeing, or being aware of anything about Sean. Upon graduating high school ๐ ๐ซ & getting ready to leave to NYC, I was at this same gym working out. Sean was there playing basketball with friends & came out to check the score of a game on the TV ๐บ. He then walked over to me to say โhelloโ. He mentioned that he was living in D.C., working for a senator, & was only in town for a few weeks. I shared I was leaving in a few weeks to NYC. He invited me to play volleyball, so I gave him my number &, without writing โ๐ผ it down, he said, โIโm good at memorizing numbersโ & that he had it stored in his brain ๐ง โฆ๐๐ค
He called me for this volleyball ๐ game & it didnโt pan out (on my end ๐ฌ). He then asked to go on a date with a group of his friends. I said โyesโ & our first date was scheduled for June 24th, 2006 (2006?!?!?!๐คฏ)โฆ
We then hung out on the 25th, 26th, 27th, & so onโฆ. About a week or so of consecutive dates, we sat in my parentโs basement & said, โhey, I know in my heart weโre meant to be togetherโฆ as in forever โพ๏ธ togetherโฆ letโs get marriedโฆโ๐ณ๐ณโค๏ธโค๏ธ๐ฅน๐ฅน
Sean quit his job in D.C. & I canceled NYC. Before we knew it, we were on the books ๐ to be married on December 27th, 2006.๐ฏ
Bumping into one another at the exact same time & same place was ๐ฏ% written in stars โจโฆ the dots connected & our journey began.๐ฅฒ๐๐ผ
Important notes ๐: As this is, of course, a beautiful story & celebration of loveโฆ I feel itโs important to note & remember that relationships take WORK. I wouldnโt ever want to set a tone that this beautiful picture hasnโt included bumps & hurdles along the way. We both have & continue to grow individually & collectively.๐ค๐ซ
Here are, what I believe to be, some key ๐ components to feeding & nurturing loveโฆ
โค๏ธA solid FRIENDSHIP. Someone who you, in 10-20-30-40-50 years, will continue to enjoy one anotherโs company, laugh your heads off, & share likeminded values. Physical chemistry, of course, is important but love deepens in a part of the heart & soul that goes limitlessly further than superficialitiesโฆ it grows into a space of unconditional & eternal oneness (so-to-speak).๐คฒ๐ผโพ๏ธ
โค๏ธHave trust, faith, & commitment to knowing & believing you can & will work through whatever life hands ya. As long as the team stays united, there may be a few scratches & cracks, but overall you will be unbreakable.๐๐ผ๐ฅ
โค๏ธLike a tree ๐ณ, allow one anotherโs branches to grow uniquely & individually so that each partner may grow & evolve into their own personโฆ pursuing their interests, hobbies, dreams, & so onโฆ, yet your roots intertwine, grow, & deepen together as a solid unit.๐ซถ๐ผ๐ฏ
I hope this gives inspiration & hope for great love, yet also keeps it real & informative for knowing that same love will be perfectly imperfect & built to experience longevity.๐ค๏ธ๐ซ

๐๐ผA lot to say here... I created this a while ago for international womenโs day โ for my sisters.๐ฏโโ๏ธ Of course, itโs applicable for ALL โค๏ธ & is my final video for LV year one.
In my modeling journey, I have often felt inner conflict while sharing images because I felt as though they were only that, an external image.
At times, I had concern that it would set a tone for women that I wasnโt sure was a tone I felt good about. If you followed along the history on my main IG page @alexandraromney, (I currently donโt post there), I always had a desire & commitment to writing a very lengthy & heartfelt caption to give internal substance behind the image.
With this said, as I continue sharing Lovely Vegan Fashion Inspo, I want to be clear in declaration that our invaluable worth comes from within. I trust my inspo & words will be captured as eternal TRUTHS in your hearts.๐ฏ
Photoshoots usually consist of an amazing team along with great lighting, a key location, & all the bells & whistles. I never wake up looking like my imagesโฆ my skin breaks out, I have cellulite, stretch marks from running, & I try to workout regularly to stay in shape & work off the vegan goodies.๐ฌ๐คช
๐๐ผโFlawsโ & perspective is also a conversation for another dayโฆ This is definitely one of my soapboxinโ topics ๐ as flaws never consist of facts, only illusory beliefs! Read that again.
Anyway, taking care of oneโs physical body requires work & consistency but does NOT equate to personal value on an existential level. And there is nothing wrong in caring for your body the way you choose & feel best about โ also a topic for another day!
My mission is for YOU to know your true home of peace & wholeness is right there withinโฆ INVALUABLE & UNALTERABLE.
