It’s normal to find ourselves struggling to turn inward for peace when, for whatever reason, we feel a dominating inclination to turn outward.🫨

My heart is very full. This last, I don’t know, long has been quite a process of many things, but what is for certain is how little by little there have been great life-changing blessings along the way.🤲🏼❤️

I’ve been thinking 💭 about stillness & how my soul seeks this quiet sacred space of rest, yet my mind thinks I need to always be doing, creating, building, or pursuing. Especially during this “in-between” chapter of moving.🌟💫

This chapter, or “era,” is focused on honoring my mind, body, & soul’s call for more REST.💯✨

More stillness.💯✨

More spaces & gaps of nothingness.💯✨

I want to emphasize the absolute power that comes with being a WOMAN & a HUMAN BEING.

BEING STRONG YET SOFT.🌞❤️ 

Individually 👤 & collectively 👥, we embrace the world each day with intentions to make space to stand in our power, shine authentically, & liberate our minds from fear of being SEEN.🫂

We continue to grow, evolve, & are unstoppable as a force of nature even while receiving somewhat contradictory messages.📈📉

💭“Take up space, but not too much.”

💭“Speak up, but don’t be difficult.” 

💭“Be bright, but dim enough to give comfort.”

💭“Share your wins, but quietly to remain humble.”

And so on.👆🏼 

Over the years, I have continued to learn a lot about the balance of what it means to be STRONG YET SOFT.🌞❤️

This might just be one of my many favorite things about being a woman.💃🏼💃🏾💃🏿💃🏻💃🏽 

Strong yet soft isn’t always easy, especially in a world that promotes toughness to equal hardness & misunderstands softness to equal weakness.🤔 

This couldn’t be further from the truth, & this is where I believe the ego is a pro at masking & pretending to imitate our hearts.🥸 

A few examples from above ⬆️ of what it means to be strong yet soft... 

❤️Being strong by always taking up space & soft enough to know there is infinite space to be shared with others! Neither subtracts from the other, yet there is one beautiful space.✨

❤️Being strong means always speaking up & knowing that volume, harshness, coldness, & unkindness do not equal lasting effectiveness. Drawing boundaries with honey.✨ 

❤️Being strong is being bright! In the flow of the world, it can take courage to shine! But when we have the courage to do so, we are able to softly & lovingly shine our light on everyone around us! This is what true comfort for others looks like, because they then feel the courage to do the same with their bright light.✨

❤️Being strong by absolutely sharing personal wins! What we sometimes forget is the journey it took to get there, & hiding behind our successes does no favors. A lot of the “failures” along the way softened our hearts with trial & error. Sharing wins & celebrating successes in life helps us all know we can do it too!✨ 

And so on.👆🏼 

I SEE YOU, SOUL FAM! Shine ever so brightly, & whatever you do, do not let the world rob you of the POWER that is YOUR ability to remain SOFT while being STRONG.🌞❤️ 

Share your space, your voice, your light, your wins, your strengths, your beauty — YOUR EVERYTHING that makes you the unstoppable, untouchable human being you are today.💯
