When setting out to climb 🧗‍♀️ life’s peaks ⛰️, our egos love to convince us that we must be the creators of the “exact” path 🗺️ taken as well as the “ideal” destination 🚩. 

This will be sure to include the pressure of two (or more) things:

1. Meeting the “expectations” of our ego’s process 🗺️ so that we may feel a false sense of safety & identity.

2. A “perfect” timeline which, if unmet, suggest we’re “failing”, “lost”, & basically “not enough” until we get there.

🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️WRONG.🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️

Here is what our hearts ❤️ know — there are paths, valleys, roads, & processes that have much deeper meaning than what we may see or understand with our human eyes 👀 & minds 🧠.

There is an “imperfectly” perfect map 🗺️ created FOR you that will serve YOUR highest good!💯

When we choose to trust a power much greater than life itself, the fog 🌫️ lifts & everything becomes clearer.🙏🏼💫

Whatever life peak ⛰️ you are currently climbing — keep climbing & trust YOUR journey! One step at a time & one foot in front of the other — WE GOT THIS!🙌🏼🌎🌍🌏👣

I have always been a dreamer… even if it’s with a pinch 🤏🏼 of naivety on the side.🤓

During this chapter of life, I had big ideas 💡 & the continued theme throughout it all was RESISTANCE.  Even so, a part of me deep within knew that I was being guided… I just wasn’t sure to where.  I had fears that the new direction wouldn’t match the attachments & expectations I had created in my mind.😧🧠

It was always this “thing” that would guide me to that “person” & then the next “place” that would lead me to exactly where I needed to be.  The dots connected up until the conception of SoulRise Tribe.  Of course, I often didn’t see that during the process & was quite frustrated at times.😵‍💫😆

In hindsight, the amount of growth & learning acquired along the way was invaluable!💯

When we work alongside powers 🙏🏼 much greater than our human minds can logistically comprehend, it deeply supports our pursuits & peace of mind to trust the process of it all.👣✨

May we continue to…

👉🏼LISTEN,

👉🏼& ACT UPON…

While knowing we are being guided & supported for our highest good.🙌🏼❤️

During many modeling experiences & overall just being a woman in our society, there have been countless times where outside influences have given the impression that I needed to change something about myself.

As though I needed to reach & grasp onto what would make me “enough”, alter a “flaw”/undesirable trait, or adjust my values to “fit in”.

How many times a day do we consume influential messages while consciously & unconsciously taking note of where, what, & how we lack?

When we choose not to ride society’s rickety rollercoaster 🎢 of influential 👍🏼s and 👎🏼s, especially at the expense of ignoring our unchangeable existential truth, we are liberated to be free & shine limitlessly from the invaluable space of WHO WE TRULY ARE.🌎🌍🌏✨

The ego will always point out a missing piece 🧩 that’s promised to “complete” our sense of value. Our higher selves know better.

Let’s strive to be our best & avoid the ego’s luring “stories” that pressure us to mold into something (figuratively & non-figuratively) which are not real.😑📖

May we act on influence guided by our inner truth knowing we are always INVALUABLE.💯

👇🏼Please read…👉🏼 there is definitely a lot of noise, negativity, fear, anxiety, & hopelessness in our shared world… a lot of battles being fought in our personal lives… a lot of experiencing others go through similar battles.  This is your reminder to pause, take a breath, & KEEP GOING.🤝❤️

Be patient with yourself; hold tight to faith and trust everything will be okay — because IT WILL.  Give yourself endless amount of hugs, love, grace, compassion, & SUPPORT.  Please read this again.👍🏼

I am sending you those same loving & lifting vibrations… absorb them & pass them along.  TOGETHER, we got this.🙏🏼✨

P.S. I want to highlight a little reality here… hair that hasn’t been washed for days (as in a week 😬), an old beat up zip hoodie that I’ve had for many years & worn/filmed countless times 😌, & a breakout with unhealed bruises from an IPL…😚

THIS is more along the lines of REALITY in comparison to my LV Fashion Inspo posts.  Model imagery & the creative aspects of a photoshoot are a lot of fun, yet they don’t equate to setting any sort of standard for being HUMAN.❤️💯

A cute 🥰 love story + some important notes 📝👇🏼:

How we met?  Sean was older than me, so I didn’t know him well.  At the time, I knew he went to school with my brother & worked at a local gym.  I saw him there very rarely and, if we spoke, it was always about my brother.🤣❤️

Years had gone without thinking, seeing, or being aware of anything about Sean.  Upon graduating high school 😅🏫 & getting ready to leave to NYC, I was at this same gym working out.  Sean was there playing basketball with friends & came out to check the score of a game on the TV 📺.  He then walked over to me to say “hello”.  He mentioned that he was living in D.C., working for a senator, & was only in town for a few weeks.  I shared I was leaving in a few weeks to NYC.  He invited me to play volleyball, so I gave him my number &, without writing ✍🏼 it down, he said, “I’m good at memorizing numbers” & that he had it stored in his brain 🧠…😂🤔

He called me for this volleyball 🏐 game & it didn’t pan out (on my end 😬).  He then asked to go on a date with a group of his friends.  I said “yes” & our first date was scheduled for June 24th, 2006 (2006?!?!?!🤯)…

We then hung out on the 25th, 26th, 27th, & so on….  About a week or so of consecutive dates, we sat in my parent’s basement & said, “hey, I know in my heart we’re meant to be together… as in forever ♾️ together… let’s get married…”😳😳❤️❤️🥹🥹

Sean quit his job in D.C. & I canceled NYC.  Before we knew it, we were on the books 📚 to be married on December 27th, 2006.😯

Bumping into one another at the exact same time & same place was 💯% written in stars ✨… the dots connected & our journey began.🥲🙏🏼

Important notes 📝: As this is, of course, a beautiful story & celebration of love… I feel it’s important to note & remember that relationships take WORK.  I wouldn’t ever want to set a tone that this beautiful picture hasn’t included bumps & hurdles along the way.  We both have & continue to grow individually & collectively.🤝👫

Here are, what I believe to be, some key 🔑 components to feeding & nurturing love…

❤️A solid FRIENDSHIP.  Someone who you, in 10-20-30-40-50 years, will continue to enjoy one another’s company, laugh your heads off, & share likeminded values.  Physical chemistry, of course, is important but love deepens in a part of the heart & soul that goes limitlessly further than superficialities… it grows into a space of unconditional & eternal oneness (so-to-speak).🤲🏼♾️

❤️Have trust, faith, & commitment to knowing & believing you can & will work through whatever life hands ya.  As long as the team stays united, there may be a few scratches & cracks, but overall you will be unbreakable.👊🏼💥

❤️Like a tree 🌳, allow one another’s branches to grow uniquely & individually so that each partner may grow & evolve into their own person… pursuing their interests, hobbies, dreams, & so on…, yet your roots intertwine, grow, & deepen together as a solid unit.🫶🏼💯

I hope this gives inspiration & hope for great love, yet also keeps it real & informative for knowing that same love will be perfectly imperfect & built to experience longevity.🛤️💫

LV Fashion Inspo Chapter Four (Look: A Winter Solstice Glow).

“Imposter syndrome” is something a lot of us relate to in different ways… & definitely has been a personal experience in more than just modeling jobs.  Even when sitting in a fancy hotel before a job, there were times I felt unworthy to be in a nice room that I didn’t pay for.🥴🥰

Regardless of whether we feel worthy to receive, do, experience, etc…, the TRUTH at heart remains the same. (Part two hits this home 🏡 & I can’t wait for you to receive it.)

NOTHING in this life alters the unalterable - which is YOUR existence in itself.🌎🌍🌏

Your value? Infinite ♾️.

Your worthiness? Infinite ♾️.

Your purpose? Infinite ♾️.

Life always shifts and changes — our truth, however, does not.🙏🏼💯
